Central infrastructure

What is central infrastructure and why do you need it

The central ICT infrastructure forms the core technology platform of the organization, which ensures the operation of key applications and services. It contains data centers with compute and storage capacities, virtualization and hyper converged technologies, high-speed networks (SAN, LAN/WAN), and automation tools for efficient management. The architecture is designed with an emphasis on high availability, scalability and security, complemented by performance monitoring and capacity for proactive management.

The infrastructure includes backup and recovery processes to protect data from loss and ensure continuity of operations in line with RTO/RPO objectives. Modern solutions use advanced technologies such as snapshots, deduplication, encryption, and integration with the cloud for disaster recovery. The entire ecosystem is governed by standardized procedures and safety policies to ensure reliability, compliance and maximum operational efficiency.

Our central infrastructure services

Architecture, implementation and system support of data centers
Data centers form the fundamental platform for the operation of critical services. Designed with an emphasis on high availability, scalability and security, the architecture includes compute resources, storage systems and SAN networks for fast data transfer. Key elements include redundancy, segmentation, standardised management practices and performance monitoring. System support is included to provide patch management, hardening, configuration management, and regular recovery tests.
Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI)
HCI streamlines infrastructure utilization and leverages the spare capacity of individual hardware components. It integrates compute and storage resources into a single software-driven environment, simplifying management, accelerating deployment, and enabling flexible scaling. It delivers integrated data services such as snapshots, deduplication, encryption and replication, and eliminates the need for stand-alone SAN solutions. It is particularly suitable for consolidating virtualized environments, VDI and hybrid cloud scenarios.
Virtualization
Virtualization enables resource consolidation, efficient hardware utilization, and rapid application deployment. It includes server virtualization, network virtualization (SDN) and storage virtualization (SDS), complemented by containerization for modern applications. Key elements include high availability, live migration, microsegmentation, and integration with backup and monitoring tools.
Automation
Process automation ensures consistency, reduces error rates, and speeds up service delivery. It uses the principles of Infrastructure as Code, configuration management and orchestration for provisioning, patching and disaster recovery. Included are self-service catalogs, governance policies and automatic deviation remediation, which increases efficiency and auditability.
High availability
The High Availability and Resilience strategy includes elimination of single points of failure, redundant architecture, clustering, and cross-site replication. Defined RTO and RPO objectives determine the level of protection for each service. Regular tests of DR scenarios are included to verify the readiness of the infrastructure for crisis situations.
Monitoring
Monitoring is a key element for ensuring operational stability and predictive infrastructure management. The modern approach involves complex observability — collection of metrics, logs and transaction tracing, supplemented by synthetic tests and real-time analysis. The systems utilize event correlation, anomaly detection, and automated response (AIOps), allowing downtime to be minimized and performance optimized. Integration with ITSM and Security Platforms (SIEM) ensures unified incident management and audit oversight. The result is proactive capacity management, reducing the risk of critical incidents and supporting decision-making based on accurate data.
Backup
The backup strategy is designed according to the 3-2-1-1-0 principle, which guarantees multi-level data protection. Modern solutions combine application-consistent backups, snapshots, deduplication and encryption with immutable copies to protect against ransomware.
It includes automated recovery tests, orchestration of disaster recovery scenarios, and integration with cloud storage for geographic redundancy. The key objective is to achieve defined RTO/RPO, ensure continuity of operations and meet regulatory requirements. Regular verification of renewability is essential for the reliability of the entire process to be guaranteed.

How the central infrastructure works

1
Evaluation of existing infrastructure
We map the current state of the infrastructure. We identify weaknesses and needs for the next development.
2
Central infrastructure design
We will create a solution concept that ensures stable, safe and scalable operation. We define the architecture, the capacities and the necessary technologies.
3
Implementation and commissioning
We implement the proposed solution, perform configuration, integration and managed migration to avoid service outages.
4
Operational support and supervision
We provide continuous monitoring, support, incident resolution and optimization of infrastructure according to current needs.
