Comprehensive turnkey delivery of central infrastructure including service contract

Rubena, s.r.o. is a traditional Czech manufacturer of rubber products with a long history. As a result of ownership and legal separation from the parent company, it found itself faced with the need to build an entirely new central ICT infrastructure to ensure stability, security and readiness for future development.

The aim of the project was to provide complete turnkey infrastructure delivery, including:

• Design and implementation of a new architecture.

• Migration of Microsoft 365 services (O365).

• Migration of application servers.

• SAP ERP migration coordination (provided by a third party).

• Ensuring high availability, security and scalability of the environment. The project also included a service contract for long-term support and operational stability.

The project was implemented as a comprehensive turnkey delivery of modern ICT infrastructure, which provided the customer with a significantly higher level of security, availability and operational efficiency. The solution included designing an architecture with a central data center and geographically separated backup site, implementing a highly available virtualization cluster for smooth operation and seamless server migration, building a fully redundant server, network, and data layer, complete with all-flash storage with synchronous replication, and advanced backup and security mechanisms to protect data even from ransomware. The delivery included integration of an enterprise server, storage and networking platform, central Microsoft infrastructure including Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 for unified communications and productivity.
